I am nothing in this world

Recently, I had a chance to reach the Thiumala Thirupathi by walk. Seriously, i felt, I am nothing in this world and whatever efforts and pains I have gone through in this life, so far are nothing and they are all smaller than a mole.

Wow! Great experience!!!

Kolam

My long time passion is to create a web site for Kolam, especially for the tough 'sikkal' kolams. Surprisingly, when I browsed in the net there are n number of websites, displays lots of kolams. In my younger age, we used to put different kolam in our door step and enjoy by seeing them, once it is done. We used to have healthy competition among the neighbours and try to put a new unique kolam per day in the auspicious month of 'Margazhi'. I had a bunch of kolam collection book. I do remember taking it to my in-laws' house also, after getting married also. In the course of time, I guess I missed/lost it. Still I remember how nicely I used to maintain it. Still I have a longing to create a similar kind of book with lot of toughest kolam collection.

I got amused to see the following links, and hope, if I find time, will definitely make a collection again.

http://www.ikolam.com/kolam
http://kolam.co.in/freehand.html
http://www.pongalfestival.org/pongal-kolam-designs.html
http://tamilelibrary.org/teli/kolam.html
http://kolangal.kamalascorner.com [Excellent work indeed!!! I appreciate this person and her efforts]

I still beleive, who ever is able to put the sikkal kolam, they are intelligent, patient enough in life. I used to admire the home servants, in and around our chennai, my walking spots - who put nice tough kolams and beleive, if they would have got right chance in studies, they might have flourished rather than to be house servants, who does 'murai vasal' and puts intelligent and calculation oriented tough kolams.

Taking responsibility and ownership of the kids is a great sin!!!

In my life I have met with lots of parents-kids relationship trauma.

According to me, taking responsibility and ownership of of their own kids is a sin in India. This is applicable for the parents who thinks they are the responsibile owners of their own kids, and when the kids say, there is a limit and even parents cannot interfere in their personal life beyond a point. Hence I feel, we should take responsibility only to a level, until they reach to a distance and leave them. Kids use parents as a ladder and later point in time, they do not want to look back and they do not want to come back to their old life.

So taking ownership and responsibility on the kids is not necessary beyond a point of time and like any other animals in life, make them to fly and make them to handle life alone and come out of their life. No need to interfere and this will create lot of good things in ones self life and will bring peace and happiness automatically.

Aasaiyee...thunbathirrkku kaaranam!! Just throw the responsibility and ownership out of your hearts and you will be releived and feel happy!!!!

Ultimate thing, one needs in life is happiness and it is within our heart. No need to go in search of it from sons or daughters , who can never constantly bring it to you!!!

Be free and feel happy.
